Activities & Breakouts

Breakouts

In addition to the many things to see and do at our host properties, there are often special activities during the two days that are exclusive to this retreat.​  Below are just a few examples of some of the incredible activities offered at the BBU retreats:

  • Sip and Paint -- This fun-filled event is usually held after dinner.  Laugh with friends and relax with a nice glass of wine while painting your own personal masterpiece!  (Typically limited to 25 participants depending on space available.)

  • Yoga -- Enjoy peace and beauty of all the property has to offer with morning yoga led by certified instructors.  As a great start to your day, this class will provide you with clarity and focus for the rest of your week.  This class is designed for beginners as well as those who are advanced.  (Typically limited to 50 participants.  You may bring your yoga mat if you have one; limited mats will be available on-site.)

  • Breakout | Strengthening Difficult Relationships -- Host and motivational speaker Raeann Dunlop will guide you into a clear and more focused direction when dealing with a difficult relationship.  She will provide practical tools to help you maneuver stressful situations.  (Room size dictates any limitations on audience size.)

  • Breakout | Fitness Mojo -- The theme of this session is "finding what the best fitness fit is for you."  Learn as a Certified Personal Trainer walks you through the "Systematic Approach," which includes the four steps of a functional fitness model that builds on and starts with a base of mental strength.  (Room size dictates any limitations on audience size.)

  • Breakout | Women's Health at Every Age -- Informative discussion on things to look for and recognize when it comes to your health.  As we age, the need to pay attention to what our body is telling us becomes more and more important.  Learn the importance of recognizing the signs and how to address them in a healthy way!  (Room size dictates any limitations on audience size.)
